POSITION SUMMARY

The VA Representative will be knowledgeable about Soldiers’ Angels programs and policies and will coordinate with their local Chief of the Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) to provide Soldiers’ Angels program support to veterans.

·Attend the quarterly meetings and the Annual Joint Review, which may last from 1-2 hours.

·Physically capable of performing regularly scheduled (RS) hours of service.

·Interpretation of policies and procedures of Soldiers’ Angels to the CDCE committee and appropriate VA staff.

·Manage Soldiers’ Angels programs, volunteer opportunities, and donations to the VA.

·Build network of volunteers and community support network.

·Track national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.

·Log a minimum of 20 hours at the VA monthly.

·Attend weekly meeting with staff manager.
